Sway Bar question

I have a 2010 G37 sedan base model. Wanted to upgrade to a thicker rear sway bar since I notice it has a lot of understeer with this vehicle. I'm new to Infiniti coming from a Rsx Type S owner.

My question is can G37S coupe also fit onto a G37 sedan base? or does it has to come from another G37S Sedan in order to fit the G37 model. Does any bushings also has to be change or just use the G37S oem bushings on the sway bar and does the endlinks has to be replace with the G37S? thanks.

I have done my research and I couldn't find my answer. Myg37.com I'm still getting use to this website..

Sways are the same for coupe and sedan. You'll need the bushings and brackets along with the sway bars. They come as a set. Not necessary to replace end links, but depending on how you drive the stiffer sway bar may cause enough stress to break the rear links so you may have to replace them eventually.

Thank you for the information. I dont drive wreckless at all. Every turn i make during freeway I feel as if the car is unstable and feel like it"ll sled off the road so I'm sure upgrading the rear sway bar be a good upgrade on the car

My $0.02? Sounds like you have other tire and/or suspension problems to deal with.

Question Sway Bar Links

I have heard of others in the forum with busted sway bar links after sway bar upgrades. Is this really a problem? I am planning a sway bar upgrade for my non-S sedan and wanted to ask how are others correcting this issue? Are there heavy duty links? Seems like those should be included with the bars!

There's a couple of aftermarket rear end links, but I THINK the only front ones are from SPL. Its a little more than $400 for the front and rear set of SPL's.

Well not crap im assuimg the preload and hitting a slight dip can cause it to happen. Nonetheless if anyone plans on upgrading there sways high recommend getting the rears and front.

Yes, a thick front one and the weakest of rear ones.

Hm great post OP, I'm wondering the same thing. I just got into a G37 non-sport and wondering whether I need aftermarket endlinks when I upgrade to thicker front and rear sway bars, not sure whether the sport sway bar will be enough. I do have the same instances occur when I turn aggressively, the car seems to slide the other way a bit too much. Not sure if the stock Primacy MXV4 are to blame, either?

I hadn't heard of endlinks breaking on the G37. Now I don't want to install my sway bars that are sitting in the garage!
