Lowering Springs or coilovers

Got my first G37, and wanted to see what's a good brand to purchase, I want comfortable ride for a daily driven car. I did some research and most people recommend BC Racing Coilovers, but wanted to know have anyone tried any good Lowering Springs? Greatly appreciated.

I suggest searching first, and coming back with questions that remain unanswered or that you want clarification on.

Many people here seem to like Swift springs and Eibach springs. I would start there as far as the search for springs goes.

Welcome to the site. First off, I would advise you to read the rules and regulations because this post is all kinds of jacked up. This is not a review (Thread title). There is plenty of information on this subject which you can look up using the search button between the new post and quick links links up there on the blue bar. If you did do some research, you would realize that there is plenty of people really unhappy about the rear clunking sounds the BC's make.

What year and make is your G? Sedan or Coupe? This all depends on your choices you have.

Lowering springs are good if you just want it to sit at a certain height. I'd personally get some good reputable coilovers that will fit your needs, but I guess it all depends on how much you are willing to spend as this is not a cheap job to do if you lower more than an inch. Just spring would be the more reasonable way to go if you want to save some $$. Swifts are the way to go.

Yep^^^^
Lowering isn't real simple, if you're handy w/ mechanics then installing isn't too bad but anytime you drop your G your alignment will be effected and camber kits are strongly recommended, this will add $500 to the cost. A good starting point for coilovers would be Stance SS coilovers.
Like LilG said, Swifts are a solid choice for a mild spring drop so that's where I'd start and go up from there depending on budget and how low you want to go. And if you have an AWD that will limit your choices somewhat.
Welcome to the site BTW.

What kind of driving will you be doing? Just DD duties, spirited driving, track, etc. Our employee has Tein S.Tech and they were pretty comfortable. Almost OEM like ride. Swift and RS*R are great too. If you want all around performance I'd suggest a coilover set-up.

Just DD, and thanks for your input. I'm thinking of going with Swift.
