'08 G37s Coupe 6MT Rotors Replacement

I think it's about time my G needs all 4 rotors to be replaced, I've had them turned before but that was few months ago, now it's going bad again.

Does anyone know of any good sets of rotors for the 2008 g37s coupe 6mt with at least decent quality at an affordable price? If so, where can I buy them from? Any suggestions are appreciated, thank you.

What's your budget?

If you're looking for OEM style, you can pick up factory blanks that have been drilled, slotted, or both.

If you want to upgrade, stoptech is a particular favorite, but other people like DBA, and Adam's Rotors.

KNSbrakes.com is a good source, they have kits from Centric blanks all the way up to high dollar 2 pc sets. Even the Centric blanks should be an upgrade from stock.

I believe only the Centric Premium Brake Rotor is an upgrade over stock. They have directional vanes, whereas the stocks Akebono rotors are not directional.

The basic Centric rotors are similar to the stock Akebono rotors.

Go to Rockauto.com.
Buy the Centric Premium rotors.
Use the 5% discount code posted in a thread on this forum.
Save a ton of money on good rotors.
Thank me later.

Is that for G37 Sport with Akebono brakes or base model?

I believe the KNS sets start w/ Centric premium blanks and go up from there. They have the basic Centrics on the rotor page but none on the page I linked. Thanks for clarity on the differences, also the premium blanks have the black e-coat for rust prevention.

centric premium blanks are a great, OEM-quality product at far less than OEM prices. i used them when i replaced my rears last year. same performance as OEM. you will not notice any difference. centric supplies numerous OE products for various manufacturers. some are packaged as OE parts, some as centric premium parts. same stuff different price.

i bought mine off rockauto, using the 5% coupon. bought pads at the same time, Akebono ProACT. great combo.

OP - if you are not looking for fancy "upgraded" brakes with slots or holes, give these a shot.

Blnewt, you're absolutely right, the package deals start with the Centric Premium rotors! You did link to the "All Products" section though I've tossed a link to Package Deals below.

OP, the "Package Deals" are well priced and in line with other vendors. There is not much savings to be had by cheaping out on rotors if you consider the discount you're getting on the packaged deal

Did I mentioned my budget was $300? ROFL. The broke life sucks. I also did some researching on RockAuto, I've found the Centric Premium rotors (sport) for Front 2 sides for $144, and the rear 2 sides Centric C-TEK Sport Drilled/Slotted Disc for $100. Everything came out to be $270 shipped with the 5% Off.

I was wondering if that would be a good option?

Also, I forgot to mention prior that I've gotten my brake pads replaced the same day when I got my rotors turned and the brakepads were bought from NAPA.

I barely know who Drake is and have no idea how my statement would be associated with him at all. Damn, I'm getting old.

I currently don't have them on either of my personal cars. OEM on one, Racing Brake on the other. I can recommend them though becasue I have installed them on several other people's cars. 2 G's and a Maxma. I will put them on the Wife's car if/when the time comes.

They're available for sport and non sport. I haven't looked lately but I'm pretty sure you can buy all 4 for under $300 shipped.
