Help!!! G37s drives differently after hitting something on the expressway

I have a 2010 G37s coupe that recently hit something on the expressway. After impact, the felt vibration that seemed to be coming from the exhaust as I picked up speed. I definitely don't have the smooth sound that you get from the exhaust while picking up speed. Took it to the dealer and was told that my Trans Mold was damaged so they removed that and stated I need to speak to the body shop because there is some damage to the unibody. Should I be worried? I really need that old smooth sound back when I press on the gas. Replacing the Trans Mold is only about $300 but I believe there is something else loose under since the car is still vibrating pretty badly.....

Did you have a hard tire impact and then went under the body? Could be a dinged up wheel that's vibrating along w/ an exhaust leak. Hard to diagnose over the web, especially w/ limited info and no pics.

The techs looking at the actual damage to your car are most likely a much better source of information that we could be working only with a vague description that you hit something in the road. Unfortunately there's absolutely nothing useful that anyone can tell you without looking at it. Hitting something can range from no damage to totalled.

Your best bet is to go underneath the car wit the techs while it's being inspected and examine it with them. Maybe you'll better understand the damage. If you can do that and post descriptions of the damage with pics, people can give you (somewhat) informed opinions.
