I currently have Tanabe front springs only with factory sport springs.

My car is a coupe and I have 245/40 front and 285/35 rear tires.

I also want to add 20mm front and 15mm rear wheel spacers to get closer flush look.

Im trying to figure out whats a better look, avoid rubbing and camber kits.

The front looks pretty good but the rear could use a 1/4 to 1\2 drop. Should I proceed trying to get eibach rear springs because I hear they barely are lower then factory.

Or should I start over and do the eibach fronts and tanabe rear springs for a greater drop.

But doing a greater drop i dont want to cause myself problems especially since im running a 285/35 rear tire.

I could leave what i got and do spacers but i just wish the rear was a tad lower...

The front is currently 27" from floor to bottom of fender. The rear is 27-5/8 for the driverside.

The passenger side is - 27-1/16 front and 27-5/8 rear.

I'm thinking me just adding eibach rear springs will work if they truely don't lower more then .5" would be the way to go. Not looking for slammed look just get rid of most of the wheel gap, even and flush look that wont have any problems.

Did you paint your sport oem wheels?

 

I sure did. Also painted emblems, grille, spoiler and headlight housings. Looks good in person especially with the blue.

 

I think I'm gonna order the h&r spacers. The front is sucked in 1/4 more then the rear. 20mm should be perfect. The rear looks more like .5" so think 15mm will work for the rear plus its a 285/35 wide tire.

I think going with tanabe rears r out of the question due it lowering more then the eibach and would probably rub with a 15mm spacer and the oversized tire.

So maybe should just order eibach set. Do the rear springs and should be perfect, looking to get about a 1/2 inch. If the front looks higher then the rear at that point i could replace the front tanabes with the eibachs.

 

I have a set of just front Eibach springs if you're looking to buy just the front for cheap. Pm me. I have eibachs all around and I don't think the front is too low at all. you can see my photo thread. I have a blue g37 as well.

 

You might consider rear 370z springs, I think they're about 1/2" shorter. I'm afraid the Eibachs will drop about an inch. Here's a thread of a Sedan guy that put 370z springs in front and just shaved the rear spring pad 5/8" FWIW, I think they have a DIY on G35driver on the shaved rear spring mount

blnewt - I rather stay away from shaving or a 370z spring. I read something that the ride wouldn't be to good due to the 370z weighing less then a G.

The tanabe rear springs are suppose to lower the rear more versus the Eibachs and the Eibachs are suppose to lower the front more.

It would be awesome if I could just order the Eibachs and replace the rear spring if it dropped only 1/2". Lot of people say its a very little drop close to factory.

If it did drop more and looked weird I could do the front spring later.

Do u think with eibach front/tanabe rear with 245/285 tire combo on stock 19s with 20mm/15mm combo will i run into rubbing alignment issues?

I just purchased brand new tanabe front springs and eibach rears, i saw someone with just the tanabe fronts and 15mm spacers all around and it looked clean but I think it will look better with the .5 inch drop in the rear. I'm also going with wider tires 245/275. did you have any problems with whatever setup you chose?
