bridgestone Potenza or michelin pilot ???
Hi everyone, looking for some ideas and info from anyone who can help. I have a G37s coupe and just got 20's. Found a great deal on bridgestone Potenza and michelin pilot. Both of them are all season tires, which one would you guys rather go with out of the 2 ?
Thanks John

Be more specific please. There are multiple Brigestone Potenza tires and Michelin Pilot Sport tires. Prices and performance among them vary greatly. Tell us exactly which two you are comparing.
If cold temperatures aren't a factor I would go with the Michelin Pilot Super Sports. If temperature is a factor I would go with the Michelin Pilot A/S 3's. I've had both and they were great. I currently have the A/S 3's and couldn't be happier.
I would second this, I have read a lot of comparisons and these two seem to be pretty much at the top of their categories. I also very much agree that if you can, I would run summers.

Just had the front pilot super sports put on yesterday while I've had the rears on for some months now and I have to say they are much quieter than the re050a's. IMO they have to warmup before the rears grip in the morning exiting my neighborhood. The potenzas were an awesome wet weather performer even down to the wear bar. Curious to see how the michelins hold up but as of right now it's hard to launch the car while it's cool outside with the PSS
Is it me, or are the Pilot SS tires 5 pounds lighter than most tires of the same size?
The re050a is a great OEM tire (I notice that the new GS350 comes with these as well). Big shoes to fill.
