Custom Wheels for G?

Hey you guys know of a place that can make a customer rim for the G? i bet is costly but was wondering if they could replicate the IPL in a wheel that is wider with more of a lip. Was mostly curious not sure how expensive it would be. those Overhauling shows make the CNC process look so simple but i bet it isnt. Just curious where to make the inquiries.
Thanks

I would imagine it would be extremely expensive to have that done. Some of the custom made forged wheels that we have are upwards of $5000-$10,000... So imagine them having to design the wheel in a CAD software, do all the testing to make sure the wheel design would even work under real conditions, and then manufacture only one set. It would be A LOT of work for one set of wheels.

Although Ive seen them make custom wheels on some of those TV shows about car restoration and customization.. So I guess someone, somewhere does it. I'm curious to know what you find out. Keep us updated.

You know who might know about that is West Coast Customs... Ask them, its worth a try.

Contact Chris at Watercooled Ind. He currently cuts a few designs for euro cars and has a few cast sets. But, he can also cut one-offs. Tell him Viet sent you.
