Lowering springs
Lowering springs
I have been looking into springs for my car for sometime now and have came to a conclusion that i will either go with Swift or Eibach. I want to know what you guys would recommend based on the drop and the ride difference.

Hey Blnewt, so I been reading up on springs and from my understanding is that the least amount of drop is the Eibach then the Swift? As of right now i'm so lost as to which one to order because i have 20" rims and want the least amount of drop on my car due to my driveway problems. I hear both great things about the 2 springs but if i go with a 20' set up swift will give me a gap from what i read and I really don't want that. Is this true by any chance? or should I just go with the Eibach pro kit to play it safe.

From all the pics I've seen the Swift is a bit less drop than Eibachs but there is a little variance between vehicles. Either kit is considered a milder drop, the Swifts tend to have a bit softer ride so if comfort is a biggie on your list the Swifts would have an edge.

H&R Spacers, 20mm up front and 15 in rear?
Is there anything compromised when using spacers? I can't get the idea out of my head of the wheels breaking off when cornering too fast, or something equally as stupid.

Great pic Sergio, G's looking super clean!
As far as spacers, the B2 spacers, H&R, and Ichiba bolt on hubcentric spacers are good choices. Be sure to torque to 80 ft. lbs, DO NOT use any threadlocking compound and recheck torque after a few hundred miles and every tire rotation. Be sure to use a 6 pt. socket when torquing the spacer nuts, they tend to round off pretty easy w/ 12 point sockets.

I would also suggest cleaning the wheel hub and contact area behind the rim by using a wire brush / sand paper to clean any rust, dirt or any type of build-up.
