Hi,

My friend is about to buy a set of volk gt30 rims for his 2013 g37s sedan

We need to make sure these will clear his sport brakes and it fits properly. Currently the rims are on a 07 g35 sport sedan and looks great.

Specs are:
Front 20" 8 1/2 offsets +42
Back 20" 9 1/2 offsets +37

If it's on a sport anything it should have sport brakes, I.e. they should fit......

 

well that was helpful. 07/08 sport sedans do not come equipped with Akebonos.

 

Here's a thread from a few years back, and yes, they're on a G37 S w/ the big brakes, but nowhere in the thread are the offsets listed, but since it's a sedan and the fit looks proper I'd say the offsets should be very similar to the ones you listed.

Honestly, the question seems a bit confusing. You need to check the rim for brake clearance... we call it "hi-mid-low disc" or "hi-mid-low padding", this is specifically for caliper clearance.
