Spacers

Ok so I took my car to a garage yesterday and they said that they would no recommend putting my 15mm spacers with the replacement studs in the front. They did the rear ones cause those have studs on the plates (20mm)...

They said the reason is it would damage my wheel bearings and because it's an aftermarket part it would not be covered by my warrant on my 2012 Infiniti G37xS Coupe and that the bearings are $300 each plus installation. I don't know how a wheel spacer can cause damage to a wheel bearing.

I'm thinking that they don't have the clamping tool that removes the studs. What do you guys think?

What spacers did you get? Both front and rear should be DRM type with the studs already attached to them.
