G37S Sedan Coilover question
I've been looking into strut/shock replacement options for my G Sedan. Does anyone have any information on what the lifespan of the stock struts is?
I've done a fair amount of searching on the forum and have been unable to find a definitive answer on whether or not the BC BR coilovers will allow me to retain the stock ride height.

I dropped a car once in the past and I was constantly worrying about scraping and I did a mild Eibach drop.
I'm riding on 19x8.5 FR and 19x9.5 RE TSW Nurburgrings with 245/40-19's on the front and 275/35-19's in the rear. I am pretty happy with the gap in the fenderwell and honestly, the car LOOKs lowered already in the rear but could maybe use a slight drop in the front.
However, I am not wanting to deal with all the alignment/camber/scraping issues that lowering entails.
I love the idea of 30-way adjustability to tune the suspension and have heard good things about them from some members here, but just want to know I can retain that stock ride height. Some have said it's possible with the 230mm spring instead of the 210mm variant.

The fronts are plenty adjustable, way past OEM height if you really want to.
Exactly the situation I had w/ my Megans (I believe the BC & Megan coilovers are from the same source w/ slight variations). Like Mike mentioned, you can raise the front higher than a 4x4 but the highest setting in back is about 1.5" drop. Here's what a guy on a 370z forum did, seems to work just fine but since I haven't seen or done this personally I can't say for sure how great a solution it is.

I'll give BC a call and see what they suggest. The solution that Mike utilized looks good but the thread doesn't seem to offer any further commentary on how it's held up, alignment, etc.

struts and springs vary about life span on location where you live. I am out here in New York and obviously with the harsh uneven pavement and bumpy roads it's definitely a shorter life span than say in Pennsylvania with smooth roads

I experience similar stuff in Texas and the ride feels a little different than when brand new, suggesting to me that they're starting to reach the end of life span at 67k miles.

But it's really more of a quick fix. Getting longer springs to begin with is your best option. Make sure the dampers can extend just as long.
