Spacers - Help!
Spacers - Help!
So I recently bought 18" momo revenge alloy rims with winter tyres for my G37S. Brand new from Canadian tire, specifically listed as suitable, and sized per my local Infiniti dealers recommendation for winter wheels. Unfortunately upon fitting, the front rims bottom out on the brake callipers when the lug nuts are screwed down (I.e diameter is ok, but depth of alloy appears off). The garage is suggesting spacers to move the wheels away from the calliper slightly.
Is this advisable? Will it effect anything? Or would I be better off trying to get a new wheel from them as the one supplied was obviously not quite suitable?
Any answers in a hurry appreciated - it's about to start snowing here in Toronto!
Cheers
