Smile Tanabe or Stance Coils ?

I am undecided whether I should go with Tanabes or Stance. I have the eibach pk and it feels like ****. I'm just looking for stock+ better feel. I plan on just a 1.5" drop all around. With no tracking, just daily driving in the horrible roads of LA. So idk if dampening adjustments are really necessary... if I can get more input, that'd be great

So far I see stance as being the better pick. But I feel once I have the settings the way I like it, I wouldn't change it again since I only DD. So I am not sure if stance is really the best choice since it'll be a one time thing...

Yeah. After a lot of researching these are the two I find affordable and decent enough. None of that BC, Megan, or D2 coils.

Why don't you get Koni yellow shocks if you already have the springs... Assuming you are happy with the drop? That would address your set-it-and-forget-it preference.

Not sure what model g you have so nm if yours is awd.

I would have to say for the money I went with tein ssp's and could not be happier, only a couple hundred more than both options your looking at but from what my shop said is that they are 1o times better.

Then based off of what I know and my shops recommendations I would steer clear of the stance, their words not mine. But I asked them about them when I was looking and I was down to tanabe and tein and you which way i went.

Like I said the shop was the one that directed me away from stance and to the tanabes or the teins' maybe they have a deal worked out with those two I don't know but I kinda have to put some trust in them since they are building my car.

You can google any "coilover problems" (D2,BC,Megan,Tanabe,Tein,etc.) and they all have issues. So I can't really base off that. But from what I read from all my researching on this specific forum is that Stance, Tein, & KW are pretty up there and the better quality ones. But please do tell me if I am wrong because I am no expert and am having a lot of trouble deciding on a good set of coils that are affordable. If I had the money I would of course go KW V3, but I can't justify the price tag, thus resulting to the affordable yet "decently" praised stance coils. P Casey and VossenG37s both have went through a decent amount of coils and from what I read, they find it pretty good. I'm just looking for more reviews for Tanabe and Stance owners to help me make up my mind.
