I just had UPS ring my door and got a big rectangle box delivered

.
I am sure they will make a huge difference (Hell, at least a noticeable difference is all I am after). I have them on my 01 C5 vette so I already know they work.
I know some mods people do cost a lot of money and you really don't feel a notioceable difference. At least with this mod, you get something everytime you drive. I want to get intake and exhaust, but for the money, it doesn't give you a lot of SOTP (seat of the Pants) results.
I am interested to FEEL these SWAYS for myself, what they do to my daily drive, steering and overall handling.
I plan to put front and rears on the middle setting.
Thanks for all the great info on these forums. I love it!

Don't you have something better and more helpful to post than that Swiss? LOL
My pinky slipped, if you really are IntEresTed.
Man, called 3 places near Dallas. IOne shop said $240, I said $100 max, he said good luck. I know a well known Vette shop and the owner and I am sure he will do it, but they have been super busy with expensive mods, but I might check with him.
Anyone live in Dallas and have a suggestion, it woul dbe appreciated.
Thanks

I think it's great feedback considering it's really annoying when reading words with caps. Just normal internet etiquette if you will.
To be even more helpful and if you're willing to put in the work:

Seems like a pretty straight forward install and cost of labor is $0.

Thanks Swiss, not trying to start a war at all. I KNOW its easy, did it on my 2001 C5 Vette (Still have it). Was driving a 1999 Pathfinder last 8 years with 250,700 miles when I got rid of it, so although I do have a heavily modded Vette I bought in 2001 in the garage (so can't feel too bad for me) , but i have been slumming it for the last years and so glad to have a nice G37. Such a fun car.
Anyway back on track here, without a lift, it is a little bit of a pain in the neck. I know I could do it, just called my buddy's shop in Addison, TX (21st Century Muscle Cars, GREAT PLACE!!!). he was out this weekend, but talked to a Matt the mechanic that worked on my ca and has been there for 3 years. He has a 350Z right now, so very similar cars.
He said $95 to do my sways. I am a cheap B$%^, but for $95, I would rather let them do it and not have to mess with anything.
I am going to do it next week. Love my car now! The 19" OEM coupe wheels on my sedan look relly nice and MPG hasn't suffered. The only negative is car doesn't have as much "get up and go" as it did with the 17" wheels and tires.
I would love an intake and exhaust, but not really want to spend the money, unless it made a real big difference, and I hear it doesn't on the G?
My vette for example with an intak (Vortem Ram Air Induction Kit) and aftermarket exhaust with NO cats, I picked up 25-30 HP.
How much SOTP (seat of the pants difference will I feel with an intake and exhaust, and HFC's?
Thanks

Looked at BB's write up, already had it saved too
Heck, it is easy. Maybe I might get ambiious and knock it out this weekend? Do I need a jack to get on the rhino ramps for the front, or can you drive up carefully?
On the rear install, I saw BB just used the rhino ramps and back his car on them, or jacked it up and placed them under. if I go get a jack, rhino ramps, etc. it will cost more than the $95 I am going to spend.
I might have just talked myself back in to going to my buddy's place. It does feel nice when you do it yourself. I just fixed my wife's CD Player this morning and now I feel like a real man...
Thanks for the link SC!

I had mine installed because I also didn't have a lift or ramps. And frankly, I just didn't feel like laying on my back trying to get them on. As we all know, it is such a simple install, the shop only charged me $50 for 45 min of work. Not getting the back pain and all that grease on my hand alone is worth the $50.
Hotchkis Sway bars
I just installed my sway bars today and it is an unbelievable difference. I wanted to drive on the parkway off ramps all night. I set up my on the stiffest in front and the middle setting in the rear. Great Mod. I took me about 2 hours for both bars in the driveway with cleanup. It is a very easy install.

It was easy to do the sways...except for the fact that I had to squirm in and out to get my wrenches.
95 or less would have me sold right now. Maybe pm the shop contact info in case I see soon and want to swap back?
Thanks!
