Increasing wheel offset

It will get the wheel closer to being flush.

8" wheel +40 is only 3mm difference which you probably won't even notice.

I assume the car is daily driver, so going with a staggered wheel setup is not going to allow you to rotate the tires, so that only leaves one recommendation.

So I'll go with the 19x8.5 +35 with 245/40/19 all around.

Good choice, the 245/40/19 is the best tire choice for a plus size on an X, well under 1% diameter from OEM so everything will be well in range

Put my Enkei Raijin 19x8.5 +35 wheels and 245/40/19 Bridgestone Potenza RE970AS tires on the car and it looks great! Thanks again for the help!
