front driver tire

Hey guys, my front tire all of the sudden is making a sound like theres something in the way of the tire turning while i drive. I hear it feel it but dont see it. My car is a lease i want to call and bring it into service but i have way to much miles on it, and Im worried that it will give me a problem in the long run. If anyone know how this works with the dealership please let me know. I need to fix this asap i canter drive cuz i dont wana mess up the car.

If you feel it while turning then it might be something with the power steering. Is there fluid in the reservoir? If not I would check for a leak somewhere. If that isnt it then it might be a wheel bearing going out. Is this on a AWD car or rear wheel drive.

AWD , this happens when the car is moving back or foward or turning.

sounds like you have a wheel bearing going bad. If I remember right they are cheaper on the AWD cars than my RWD. Wierd.

the wheel bearing is what allows the wheel to spin. The tire is mounted to it. You have to take the tire off, then removed the brake caliper, then the brake rotor and then you have 4 bolts on the back side of where the wheel would mount and it comes off. If the car is still under warranty I would have them do it. They are going to find out about the mileage soon or later.

So i got home lifted the car took the tire off started to inspect every MM of the car and it turned out the plastic underneath the car came of on one side it broke of. I just cut it of at the tip from what it was still hanging on and everything seems fine now.

The dealer might have replaced whatever part you cut off, if you had taken it to them.

With the amount of miles that you have put on, why hasn't it had the first service? Exceeding the oil change interval is a no no, especially on the factory fill.

If you live in the US, the maintenance reminders should have gone off by now, unless someone changed the intervals. You are past the oil change interval right now and should have that addressed asap.

Well i was thinking that im passed due for a while since ive been reading everything possible about the car.... Im going on a road trip the total of 1260 mile round trip next month and was going to change it befor i go. I also noticed that when i let go of the gas and the engine brakes on its own the car jerks a bit when downshifting on its own and i couldnt figure out why , your probably on the money with the oil change i will get on it asap! I ordered an intake and it should be here in couple of days and when i go install it i will change it at the same time.
