stretched tire sizes *HELP

Hey guys...

if one was to go for these look..

exhibit A:

exhibit B:

what size tires does one need for wheels with a 9.5" and a 10.5" width without fear of any rubbing issues?

This is for a friend's 370Z dropped only on Eibach PK.

thanks in advance!

^^Not quite that easy.

It will depend on the offsets of the wheels as well. If you have a super aggressive offsets and lowered any significant amount you will not be able to run a 275 rear.

OP, check this thread....

A 370z on prokit springs will probably look wierd with stretched tires. IMO if the car isn't low enough and the wheels aren't fitted (stanced) stretched tires will look out of place

Some more info on his setup and pics would help

Edit: just saw ur post, 225/35/20 on the 9.5 and either a 245/35/20 or 225/30/20 for the rear 10.5 I'm assuming there 20 inch wheels

G37_SOME: thanks but I don't think that's going to work. Those are barely a stretch with the wheels.

Kid...Wheels and current tires (255/35 and 285/30) are FLUSHED right now with the Eibach drop. But he wants poke + stretch like the pictures above. So he'll get maybe 15-20mm spacers for the poke.

I was thinking along the lines of 225/35 front and 255/35 rear.

225/35 on a 9.5 and 245/35 on a 10.5 for your basic stretch. Just keep the psi around 50 and you're good. Posting pics of the setup and offsets will help if you can.

Tire brands also sit different on the wheels, that can also be a contributing factor when your talking about looks.

^

Thanks guys...

I think 225/35 and 255/35 is his best bet right now. Now he's wondering how much "thinner" would the sidewall be due to the stretch.

Looks like he's going for either Yokohama S.Drives or Hankook V12's.

i'll try and get pics
