Suspension dilema..

I was in the middle of purchasing Tein SSP but the deal fell through, thankfully. Now I am torn between KW V3 or saving on money and getting BC with custom spring rates, typically I would spend more for the quality but my friend who is a car fiend said there wouldn't be a 700$ difference in ride quality between both coil over set ups.

I don't track, I want looks and I rarely take corners sideways or anything, I take it easy but I want the looks and ride quality.

Suggestions would be great or experiences. BC BRs or the KW V3s

Tenabe is out of the question but Tein flex as well, is possible I am stuck between which ones to choose

Tanabes were great, but kw is amazing. It was a night and day difference when i switched. I have my kws set at 9 clicks which is more firm then the tanabes but still so much smoother. Imho, its worth the price jump i would gladly do it again

I just had the KW's installed, finished the adjustments today. (Check out my latest picture in my garage.)

So far so good:

+ I have the "softness" set in the middle at the "9 clicks" setting and I cannot tell the difference b/t stock sport suspension and new system in terms of absorbing bumps.

+ I have the rear set at the extreme to keep as minimum a drop as possible and stay within camber spec (actually I am just barely out of spec and would need rear camber arms to nudge back into spec).

+ If you don't want to drop the back at all, I think you should look elsewhere, since there is no, "no drop" option with these coil overs.

+ While the bumpiness seems the same, there is a palpable tightening of the overall ride which feels so much better when you push the car in the corners and start and stop suddenly.

+ I hate the stock fender gap in the front -- the KW's allow you to put the front right where you want in terms of ride height and fender gap.

Good Luck,

Springs aren't an option I'm keeping this car for 5+ years. I have been told many times by a few people that the BC BR with custom spring rates are a good choice. I am just hoping to hear from somebody directly who has BCs. I know KW is a good choice...money isn't growing on trees right now though! I want a two inch drop to clear the wheel gap and keep it flush with 18x9.5 various possible offsets..but thanks everyone for your input the more the better!

I have the BC BR, quite happy with them. Also on square 18x9.5s on a sedan.
