Help!! g37s sport brake vibration

I bought HPS brake pads from a fellow member and installed em myself using the instructions provided here 2009 Nissan 370Z: DIY Brake Pad and Rotor Change, Part 1
I notice when i go speeds of 100-120 km/h or 60 miles/hr i get some steering vibrations. it shakes a bbit . this is when im cruising .
im so curious what could be the problem here. rotors havnt been changed. but it shouldnt be a problem because with the old pads it works fine.

Also i get a sharp noise when i brake hard.
anyone can help me???
thanks

steering vibrations when cruising at 60 mph is a classis sign of unbalanced wheel, probably due to a slightly bent rim. if the steering wheel is vibrating when braking it's a warped rotor.

I dont see how pads could cause vibration, unless the piston was stuck and causing the pads to constantly make contact with the rotor

the information that was provided is all true -- did you say that these were new hawk pads? you should've had your oe rotors turned (ie does not mean physically turn them, but having them resurfaced). i'm not sure why, but from past experience, and reading around the forums, having warped rotors can also cause steering vibration at higher speeds. i don't understand the concept myself (why that would be), but it's definitely true. if your wheels are balanced, and aren't an issue -- have your rotors turned, and check back.

if i'm right, you owe me a beer lol gl man
by the way, for future reference -- if you're not interested in doing a brake job yourself, you can take it an acura dealership. their tl type-s (up to 08) had brembo brakes. i had my buddy's dealer do mine -- it was...200 for a full brake job (but that was with a buddy-buddy discount). infinit charges over a freaking grand.
