question on fastener torques for suspension jobs
question on fastener torques for suspension jobs
it says in the Eibach springs installation manual that after the installation of the rear springs, the fasteners (/sth bushing related) need to be re-torqued with the full weight of the vehicle to avoid pre-load.
They recommend a drive on ramp to do this.
Would I be able to use a jack to jack up the suspension link and torque it that way?
Would I also need to do this for the front springs, front sway bar, and rear sway bar to avoid pre-load?
