8 pot front 2 back?

I'm seriously considering the ksport 8 pot front brake kits (13"). Now I don't want this to become a "bigger isn't better" discussion. I just want to know if running 8 pot in the front and the akebono 2 pot in thy back works?

Most braking is done in the front so I don't see how running a larger caliper up front could hurt.. Unless it will throw your cars braking abilities off balance?

Your brake bias will be all screwed up. 8 pot isn't necessarily > 6 or 4
If you have some quality 6 pot like brembo or AP, you can probably stop time.

I know but ksport price is just too good to consider a different kit. The 8 pot is the same size and the ap 6 pot. The just shrunk the pistons a bit and added two more. So 2 in the back with technically 6 in the front would work okay?

Don't u need new wheels for 8pod to fit? U have the 18" right? 8pod will be pointless if u don't upgrade ur tires too, 225s won't do. 8front 2rear will also cause u more understeering, which u alrdy do w/ awd.

It should work. But I can see you regretting your decision to buy this if you decide to. Hopefully I'm wrong. Good luck with those.

^^ why's that? An I will be upgrading my (summer) tires anyways. That's not an issue. Why will this setup cause not understeer? I assume only under braking you mean?
