Mike's correct on that one, excessive toe destroys tires not camber. And to OP, unless you're extremely slammed I don't think you'll want to go with more negative camber, it'll make your car look very funny.

From my experience, negative camber does contribute to the tires wearing faster. But I make up for it by swapping the tires side to side.

Yup that is my current strategy in the meanwhile.

More camber which gives me more flush look.. I can live going through tires....

"You pay for what you get"
-Flush
-Good/bad looks from other people
-Clean ride
-Only G37 in town to be like it is

With all due respect, I think you may be a bit confused about this whole camber, hellaflush, etc thing.

more negative camber will not give you more flush look when your wheels are already within the fender line.

you do not want to run any more negative camber then necessary.

and -6 camber is not a pretty sight

Good for you.

I drive a cambered car and have first hand experience in telling you that camber doesn't eat tires.

You should know that camber causes uneven load, and thus, uneven wear, while toe causes scrub, causing the tire to wear really quickly.

Remind me (and everyone else on this board) not to go to you for an alignment. You probably just look at a screen and call it a day when its 'in spec'. I get my alignments done with yardsticks, tape measures, and levels.

Here's a question for you.

G37 pulls left under load, goes straight off-load and under braking. Alignment checks out fine on the rack. There is no suspension damage. What's causing the pull?

Thats sematics, tire wear is tire wear.

You cant come to me for an alignment, I stopped being a tech 22 years ago.

Lastly who are you to judge my past work?
I was the best at what I did then as what I do now!!!

Perhaps you're confused, 22 years later.

Camber (uneven)

Toe (feathering)

Ahh this is why I cambered.. Went Costco and bought 3 packs of water and a pack of gatorade.. And some other stuff also.. With 2 people. If I was not cambered, I would be rubbing on my lip or tire badly.

the faces of people I drive by are just.. "WTF"
