torquing 19" with tire iron in trunk

torquing 19" with tire iron in trunk

how do i torque lug nuts on 19" with the tire-iron provided with the car jack.

or do i need a torque wrench????????

You need a torque wrench to tighten to a certain torque.

the tire iron is supposed to provide enough leverage to allow the average built person to torque accurately with moderate force.

however, if your gonna work on your car frequently, it would be nice to get yourself a torque wrench for super accuracy

im medium built i just want to take off and put back on front wheels.how tight should i go??

back off when the nut is getting tight, don't ever use your foot to tighten it or loosen it.
