oh man, THANK YOU!!!THANK YOU!!!THANK YOU!!!THANK YOU!!! i know that a lot of the things i ask have been asked before, i try searching, but sometimes the answers i find are not the clearest. this is great news, as these are the wheels that i have on my car now (and will work with the bigger brakes, and no spacers, right?), and i also have a set off the Rays Nissan 350z forged 19" wheels for summer. i was thinking i would need new winter tires if i were to get the Akebono brakes. this will save me a lot of money !! i really appreciate it!!

p.s.
the 19" Rays Forged 350Z sport wheels will also work with the larger brakes, without spacers, correct?

You gotta appreciate having Kenny on the Forum to help us out with these issues. If you can't trust Kenny, who can you trust?

Thanks Kenny. Stay warm and safe in the snow!

has anyone ever successfully completed the installation of the stock BBK onto a G37x? This is my first post so hello everyone. I'm picking up an 09 XS with premium, tech, and nav packages tomorrow and this is one of the only things that bug me about the car. The cheap look of plain, cast brake caliper is unacceptable on a $40k+ luxury car. I don't understand why Infiniti chose to leave the BBK off the X. I'm just hoping it doesn't have anything to do with fitment. The only other things I plan on changing are the tires (looking at Blizzak LM-60's) and the addition of remote start to the factory smart key.

As a newb I know I should search and I will but I figure I'll put it out there since I'm already posting. Does anyone know of any TSB's that I should be aware of? I heard about a reflash for the transmission but that's it so far. Thanks everyone. I'm looking forward to learning from and hopefully contributing value to the forum.

Edit: Where do I check for updates to the nav system?

@Kenny: Would the 18" 9-spoke 7.5" anniversary wheels clear the BBK front and back on an '11 xS?

I'm thinking about doing this; I've been told the only mod is the rear dust shield needs to be trimmed or removed.
