Fitting 255/50 R19 tires with Eibachs
Here's the scenario, I just replaced the tires on our ML's AMG 19s, it had 255/50 tires all around. The tires aren't really consumed as much as they're old.
There's a drift event organized locally taking place on Friday that I want to take part it in without smoking my almost new Dunlops. I'm planning on taking out the spacers, but would I still rub with the inner lining? I reckon the tires will be almost 30mm's thicker, which is around 1.18". I'm guessing those on H&R springs experience a similar clearance between their tires and lining (since they sit around another inch lower than Eibachs). I'm going to test fit it when my car arrives in a few days.
What are your thoughts? Apart from my G looking like a dragster haha

Well Sam,
I had 255/40 michs and it was about a good 1.5 cm away from the bracket, so I'd imagine, you can fit 50's in there with no problem. But it'll look weird as hell.
