Alright, when people question whether or not a wheel will clear the big brakes is it a matter of rubbing on the inside of the wheel or the spokes themselves? Also, are there any 17" wheels out there that fit the coupe with brake kit? I'm looking at these but I'm not 100% sure they would fit, I know there isn't much info in the listing but I inquired to get some more....4x100 17inch Sport Edition W/tires

Any advice?

 

I'm nearly 100% certain you won't get 17" over the Akebono BBK, I couldn't

Some wheels rub on the spokes but I think you'll find most people are referring to rubbing the inside of the wheel/outside of the caliper. If it's super close you could shave the caliper but I would just get another wheel instead!
