Thumbs up Will all four 19x8.5s fit on 08 G37s Coupe?

Hey wheel and tire experts I need some help...

I was looking to get black rims for my 2008 G37S coupe because someone stole the rims off the driver's side of my car. Here are the specs of the rims I am interested in buying, if someone could help me out and tell me if these will fit, and if not what I need, it would be greatly appreciated. I understand the G37s has 19x8.5 and 19x9.5 for the rear, so please help. Thanks and here are the specs:

If they stole rims off the driver's side, that means you still have the rims on the passenger side right? Take the passenger front wheel off and put it on the driver rear and spin it. If it doesn't hit or rub anything, I'd say you're good to go. I'm not an expert though, so I can't promise anything.

Thumbs up

hey again,

I havent got a chance to take the front passenger wheel off and put it on the rear drivers side but that is a good idea. I would like to get the 19 x 8.5 for the front and 19 x 9 for the rear but it's like impossible to find them online. Does anyone know where I can find 4 wheels like that for around $600 with shipping? Someone please help me out, and if anyone else sees this thread, tell me if I will need spacers for 19 x 8.5 all around?

Thanks all for your help,

Meyo

yes, those Stern wheels will fit front or rear on our G, no problem..

8.5" with +32mm offset, you may want 10-15mm spacers, yeah.. cuz it won't be very flush..

thanks TIMMAY, I will be ordering those wheels, and what size spacers do you think I should get? 10mm or 15mm? Also, the same size tire that is on the front rims would be okay for those wheels as well? I wil be ordering the tires from my job so basically read the tire from the front wheel which are P225/45WR19 correct?

My question is..when I order tires for the 19 x 8.5" Stern wheels with +32mm offset would the tires be the exact same for the new wheels as they were for the stock wheels? Will the Potenzas that come on the vehicle fit exactly on the new wheel as they did on the stock wheels.

Thank you so much for your help, I really do appreciate it and this time I will put 5 different wheel locks on my car and a bumper sticker that says my wheel locks are in China, I get them shipped when I get a flat

Yes, you can put the stock Potenza tires on those wheels and they will fit with no problems.. You can go 225/45/19 front and rear, you can stagger the front and rear with 225/45/19 and 245/40/19 like the stock tires, or you can go with the same size wider, lower profile tires all the way around with 245/40/19.

What spacers you decide to get depends on how aggressive you want your wheels to look.. i'd recommend getting your wheels on first and then deciding what you want to do..

Once again timmay, thanks for all your help! I got lucky in a way, I had a g37s trade in come to my dealership(nissan) and they put new rear tires on so I'm taking the 245/40r19's for the rear, and you said those would def fit on the stern wheels I had told u about right(19 x 8.5")? So when I get those wheels off ebay, I will need to just get two 225/45R19's for the front, and 4 tpms and I should be good to roll right? My only thing is getting the stock potenza tires for the front will be brand new and the rears will have 14k miles on them, but I can always get new ones in the future(I have a p.o.s. To drive in the winter). I think this will work out, but it confuses me cuz you said the after market wheels 19 x 8.5" will fit on both sets of tires? It doesn't matter that the rear tires are wider? If you get a chance, pm me your phone number if you have a moment, I REALLY appreciate it as right now I miss my g more than ever!

EXCUSE TYPOS/SHORTCUTS AS I AM ON MY BLACKBERRY!!!

8.5" wheel fits 225 and/or 245, yes..

if you choose to go with 245 in the rear that is fine as the 37S comes with staggered wider 245 tires in the rear.. i'm running 245 front 275 rear right now..

it's ok if you have brand new tires in the front and more worn tires in the rear.. that's fine.. a lot of people's rear tires wear faster anyways so eventually you have different sets you've changed in the front and rear.. what you don't want is a brand new left tire and a worn right tire up front etc.. you want to have even tread left and right as that effects handling..

Hey Timmay,

I still havent got my new wheels yet, the guy I was supposed to get them from ordered 18" by accident so now I am still without a car. One of my friends about 40 miles from me has 19" Maxima Sport Wheels almost brand new, but I am unsure if they will fit on my car. The size of the tires are p245/40R19 but I feel like it would look really weird on the g37S. I would probably need spacer...but I just don't know. I appreciate all your help, I don't know what to do!!! I am relying on you timmay!!!!

kinda like how Nissan makes the Altima coupe as cheaper G, the maxima is similar to the G sedan and has 5x114.3 bolt pattern for wheels.. the maxima stock ones are definitely not too wide to fit on a G so they would fit.. yes, they'd look better with spacers, as their offset is probably about the same or bit higher than the stocks for G's..

get the wheels and worry about adding and affording spacers later/after!
