New wheels rubbing back caliper.

Just got new Lexani LSS-10 wheels mounted and the back wheels are rubbing on the top corner of the brake calipers.

The tech said they have seen this before and they just grid the calipers a bit, but that they wouldn't do that with my sport multi piston caplipers.

The offsets are G37 specific from Lexani this is Bull$h!t .

Has anyone else had this problem. If so what did you do.

Make them take it back.

So, I guess I'm one of the first to get the Lexani LSS-10s for the G37 with sport package. I was informed that Lexani told the vendors LSS-5s and LSS-10 would have the same caliper clearance. So the LSS-10 was machined to the same specs and the LSS-5.

Turns out the caliper clearance is not the same. I they sent me 3mm spacers and will work to get new wheels from Lexani for me.

I really don't want to run with spacers, but I guess it will be ok untill I get replacements.

I sucks though I really just want them on my ride.

Sorry to hear that, you can always sell them to non sports or on other forums if you hate spacers that much. What spacers are they sending you? Make sure they don't cause any vibrations

Tell them you paid for and agreed on paying for something that would clear the calipers. Not something that will clear the calipers with spacers. There was no mentioning of possible spacers. You find it unacceptable, and have received less of what you paid for. Complain to different sources, make it public, do whatever it takes for them to fix it for you.

Don't let them shoo you away with some spacers to fix the problem.

also if any damage was caused to your calipers, make them pay for it.

See if they will replace them with a better offset... If not, 3mm spacers should do it.

They should replace them for free, but just in case 3mm spacers won't be bad, I have them on my front iForged and no vibrating..

3mm spacers and problem solved. sucks they messed up but not a huge deal if you like the wheels. as long as the spacers are hubcentric, shouldnt be an issue.
