???reset TPMS indicator, dealer needed???

I switched to winter wheels and tires without TPMS sensors on them and the indicator remains on in my car. My question is if I need to do anything , after I put the OEM wheels with TPMS back on, to reset the indicator light in the car or will it recognize the sensors from the wheels and turned off? The dealer said I need to pay them a visit for that?!

uh when i changed my rims they charged me 55 bucks to reset the tpms sensors... but you said you had yours in the original rims and not the new ones... so you can't reset them... just drive with the light on till summertime because you'll have to remount those tires to get the tpms sensors into your new winter rims

Because I have to drive the G in the winter, I purchased rims and snow tires from Tire Rack and had them swapped at a convenient tire shop. I opted to have Tire Rack install sensors in all 4 rims. When scheduling my next service with my Infiniti dealor, I was advised it would be $135 to reset the TPMS on my winter tires. I was also told that because the original rims had been off for some time, the system would have to be reset again, at $135, when I put the stock/summer tires back on. Had I known it would be $270 per year to have a second set of winter tires, I may have made different decisions. Now all I want to know is what wire I can cut to disable the annoying light on my dash.
