yep looks like mine. I love the new look. It is much more aggresive looking. The tires look meatier. From behind the whole car looks meaner as well.

 

installed 225 Nitto Invo's in front...ordering rears this week...will 255 be ok being lowered on H&R's or will it rub?

 

Those look great! That's the exact setup that I'm leaning towards. With the switch to wider all-seasons, have you noticed any difference in handling at all? How do you like the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus tires?

So far I can honestly say they are much better OVERALL than the OEMs... wet traction is far superior, and dry is almost as good... I did manage to have a little slip while in 3rd gear once while going straight(which I never did with the OEMs... I dont know what happened... I tried recreating it again and I couldn't!!!)

As far as hard cornering, they do slip more than the OEMs. For 95% of driving however, they are very good tires, and if you dont plan on racing your car, you'll be fine...

They are substantially more quiet than the OEMs (although this could be due to the OEMs being worn and noisy). They feel like they absorb everything much better (bumps/highway junction points).

They look a lot meaner than the OEMs (I like their thread pattern for whatever reason).

They have a 45k mile warranty on them and 500 tread rating (hopefully they will last me for another 1 1/2 years until my lease is up).

Overall, I would buy them again if the tread wear is what they say it is... for me the look/alleged life of the tire far outweighs any loss in performance!

 

Are you selling your old tires Lyndon? Just the rear tires?

 

ok, so someone take a picture of the 275's directly from the rear of the car.. Both tires in the picture would be nice.. and please lean low so that we can get a true shot.

this is what im thinking too

 

Just because the rim is 9" doesn't mean the tire has to be 9". I put a 12.5" wide tire on a 10" wide rim on my truck with no problems. I understand it's a different look but the point is the same. If you put a 10" wide tire on a 9" wide rim you'll have 1/2" of sidewall bulge (for lack of better description) on each side of the wheel.
