Question Nitrogen in tires

So I was at the dealership for oil change and they suggested me to get my tires filled with nitrogen by NitroPRO. Is it really better? Feels the same

My G came with nitrogen, so I can't compare that. But my H2 started with air, then I made the switch to nitrogen. Definitely noticed it there. I didn't really notice the MPG gains, but I did notice a difference in ride noise/quality and I don't have to fill my tires anywhere near as often now.

Ok, it's another way for them to make money as you are charged for 95% nitrogen as opposed to 80% nitrogen(normal air).

But having said that I use nitrogen in my 4 cars because I am too lazy to check all of the time. The nitrigen will not leak out as rapidly(it still does, just slower) and you do not get a heat effect or raise in pressure when you drive at speed. This is beneficial if you are running higher pressures to begin with and don't need a rougher ride when you take a trip and your tires expand under load.

Your call

Nitrogen filled tires prevent them from inflating and deflating during extreme weather changes. You'd probably have to fill them up less. I don't know about driving feel unless they are flat...

N2 makes your tires and car lighter....thus increasing MPG and wind resistance.

since air is 80% nitrogen and around 18% oxygen, the oxygen will corrode the rims inside, takes along time to do so. Nitrogen will not corrode the rims.

MOre nitrogen means less rolling resistance.
