Question Nitrogen in tires

So I was at the dealership for oil change and they suggested me to get my tires filled with nitrogen by NitroPRO. Is it really better? Feels the same

My G came with nitrogen, so I can't compare that. But my H2 started with air, then I made the switch to nitrogen. Definitely noticed it there. I didn't really notice the MPG gains, but I did notice a difference in ride noise/quality and I don't have to fill my tires anywhere near as often now.

Ok, it's another way for them to make money as you are charged for 95% nitrogen as opposed to 80% nitrogen(normal air).

But having said that I use nitrogen in my 4 cars because I am too lazy to check all of the time. The nitrigen will not leak out as rapidly(it still does, just slower) and you do not get a heat effect or raise in pressure when you drive at speed. This is beneficial if you are running higher pressures to begin with and don't need a rougher ride when you take a trip and your tires expand under load.

Nitrogen filled tires prevent them from inflating and deflating during extreme weather changes. You'd probably have to fill them up less. I don't know about driving feel unless they are flat...

sorry I'm a noob at this but can you mix normal air with the nitrogen thats already in the tires?

N2 makes your tires and car lighter....thus increasing MPG and wind resistance.

since air is 80% nitrogen and around 18% oxygen, the oxygen will corrode the rims inside, takes along time to do so. Nitrogen will not corrode the rims.

MOre nitrogen means less rolling resistance.
