G37 suspension same as G35?
G37 suspension same as G35?
Hey guys,
I'm from sydney australia and I've got one of the first Imported Japanese V36 SP model which I believe is identical to your g37S.
Shame Nissan Australia don't bring these in officially as they are definitely a cut above the local offerings
I tried a search but nothing relevant came up so far...
I'm looking into getting lowering springs and a camber kit and wanted to know if I could use a V35(G35) kit, which should be compatible with a 350z if that's the case?
Parts are hard to find here as they've only recently been approved for importing and I have one of the very first
Thanks in advance,
Nice forum you guys have, good general attitude

Yes, you can use G35 aftermarket springs for the G37. Many people have already used the Tein springs. The only problem is that the ride becomes a little harsher. Plus the G37 is heavier than the G35.
Congrats on having one of the first V36's "Down Under"... Like Th1andOnly said, lots of members are running Tein HTech and STech springs for G35's. They look real good... Only downfall to them is that the spring rates are a lil off... They should be coming out with springs that meet G37 specs soon though...
thanks for the info guys much appreciated,
I know that the v35(g35) uses the 350z suspension floorplan and thus a lot of v35 owners here in Oz just use 350z camber arms.
So it looks like I'd be able to use a 350z camber kit.
I'm using a local made "King" spring brand which uses the same materials as the eibach springs.
Regarding spring rates is there a thread on here already that covers what I'd need to keep all the stock alignment and tyre tracking settings after a drop?
This would be the first car I've lowered on springs, had an R34 skyline before and already came from Japan with coilovers
All info is much appreciated

Nice
. Where's the R34 now?
As far as the spring rates go, there's a sticky here about all the suspension products. For the camber kit, you'll most likely have to get a set made for the V36.

Sold to fund the new toy. Kind of miss it but after the v36 there's no way I could go back

So I can't use a g35/350z camber kit? that's a shame, might mean I have to hold off on the drop until I can find something suitable locally, the exhange rate is woeful at the moment
