Brake noise

Anyone have an issue with their brakes making sounds? It recently just sarted for me. If im in park and i put it in drive and slowly accelerate, it makes a clicking sounds, kinda like it releasing the pad. Also when i slow down and speed back up it makes the sound. I dont think its a major issue but since it recently started its been annying me. I only have 2500 miles.

well im not 100% sure its the brakes, but it sounds like them. It just basically sounds like metal on metal contact, for half a second. It happens when i slow down and then accelerate, or when im completely stopped and i put it in drive.

It may be that the brake pads are cold. It happens to me when ever i first pull my car out on a cold day.

^ If you have the Sport model I've heard its completely normal for them to squeek when you are braking while reversing... Has something to do with the large discs/brakes..

If your completely stopped it would eliminate the brakes. It would have to be an engine or possibly a transmission noise. I would go to the dealership and have it checked out.

You may have a heavy build-up of brake dust, which can create horrible sounds. Also ck the rotor and see if there is abnormal wear or scoring.....sometimes, small pebbles get caught between the pad and rotor and will dig into the rotor. If none of these work, you can take it in to the dealership....they will prob just spread some brake lube on the pins and pads.
