Camber adjustment question

I am thinking of having an EIbach pro kit installed and I am currently running stock rims and tires. Should i be installing the camber adjustment kit too? Do I need it if I upgrade to larger rims (20's)? Novice question, but I need good advice!

If you have the camber adjustment kit then yes install it at the same time. I am not sure what the drop is on the Eibach kit is so I am not sure if you need a huge camber adjustment.

I am also confused on the subject of camber adjustment. When is it necessary/would it be necessary if I were dropped on Tanabe NF210 springs, and sitting on 20" volks?

If you lower your car you usually need to adjust the camber on the car so you don't burn through tires due to having to much negative camber. The stock setup has some camber adjustment in it so you can usually adjust the camber on it for those mild drops. With 20s I am not sure how much adjustment you will need or if it makes a big difference in the amount of drop when compared to 19s.

I got Eibach's installed at Eibach and I needed a rear camber kit. Get em! They look great, and ride fine. Money well spent

Anything that only drops the car around the 1" mark typically can get back pretty close to spec. Anything 1" or more probably could use a camber kit. Tanube and the Eibach should be able to go without.

I had similar questions so I called today and spoke to technical staff at both SPC and Eibach. SPC, who makes both of the camber kits sold by Eibach for the G37, told me that with the Pro-Kit (PN 6388.140) that you may be able to get away without a camber kit but would not recommend it.

I then called Eibach and after the first person could not answer my questions, then sent me to R&D. I wanted to know if the drop was the same on the G37 and the G37S since local shop and Tirerack had advised then thought it would be less than advertised on the S. Eibach verified from actual installs on a G37S that the drop is 1.2 F and 0.8 R. He also said that on the G37S that they had done that they installed PN 5.72260K which is both the arm and bolts. The pictures on both the Eibach and Tirerack sites are not accurate. The best picture I found is on the SPC site at:

http://www.spcperformance.com/PROD_D...d2=72260&cmd3=

Note that the prices on the SPC site are per unit because they sell a lot of parts to collison centers on an individual basis per the SPC tech. Tirerack and most websites are priced per pair.

If you search on SPC site you can find offering for G37, but when the information comes up it says G35. I specifically asked about this and you have to read notes to see that PN 72260 fits the 2007 G35 Sedan which is why it also fits the 2008 G37. Again, I asked SPC and Eibach to make sure.

So that is what I have decided on.
