tire pressure warning light...
Neither are my Mayas but they make adapters or you can remove the valve from the sensor and use a metal strap inside the wheel to secure them (thats what I did). I guess I need to go the stealership for the to pair it or reset it or whatever.
which sensors did you end up buying?
i kind of got lucky and found a set of 3 of the same sensor that the car comes with (40700-jk00b) pretty cheap, but the cheapest I can find them elsewhere so I can buy the 4th one is around 105 shipped
but yea, you have to run it by the dealer to have the sensors paired with the car. a nissan dealership should be able to do it too. and maybe cheaper. not sure how much it will be though
Well, I ran over a good size traingle shaped rock a couple of days ago. Left side both tires. My car has the stock 19s. Thought I would have a flat. Didn't. Light came on though. Checked all the pressures and they a fine.
So if I'm reading this correctly, there is nothing I can do to reset the light? I either wait to see if it goes off or go to the dealer? Is it possible the rock compressed the tire enough to crush the sensor....or maybe just change the pressure so dratically for a second that the sensor(s) is confused?
Thanks for any help.

well i ran on a dirt road with large rocks which is what set mine off... also you must drive for about 5-10 miles before it will reset
yeah.. I didn't do that.. I only drove around for like less than 3 miles because I thought once you reached 16 MPH then it will activate and reset by itself. Thanks!
