Help finding good coilovers
I have a g37x sedan and I want to lower it enough to look noticeably better but not low enough to cause damage with how ****ty my towns roads are. I’m looking for a good set of coilovers (open to struts with lowering springs as well) with adjustable dampening under 1k but I can’t trust most website reviews so I’d like to hear some of your guys opinions, so far I’ve looked at truhart and Godspeed and so far I’m leaning towards the Godspeed mono ss coils but I’m just not sure
Being AWD and having a $1,000 budget for coilovers automatically limits your options to cheap ebay brand systems. Godspeed, maxspeedingrod, etc.
They are only good for looks, not so much performance and road handling characteristics compared to $1,500-$2,000 coilovers.
Buy them and let us know how you like them.
BTW just because they come with "32-way" adjustment doesn't mean each click will make a difference when it comes to ebay brand coilovers. Sometimes even 10 clicks does nothing. I've installed maxspeedingrod coilovers on a Tesla Model Y and noticed very little difference through the entire adjustment range.
