Hi all,

Looking to pick up a set of brake rotors for an 11 Sedan Sport (6MT) with the big brake calipers (akebono?).

Not sure what size the rotors are though as there are many options on sites like AutoZone. Rockauto and AutoZone also both say that they are "except Brembo" (?? Are big calipers just all called Brembo now haha).

What MM rotors would I need?

There is 320 which is except Brembo
There is 330 which is except Brembo
There is 354.7 which is Brembo

 

Yup you are right lots of Catalogs say "Brembo" on this car but those are the Akebonos. Just using them as "Big brakes".

The Fronts are 355mm so the 354.7 will fit your car on the front.

Rears are 350mm

The 03-04 G35 6MTs leveraged Brembo for OEM and analysts praised the braking of the rebranded Skyline (2003 Motor Trend Car of the Year). Unfortunately, those models were plagued by premature wear, so Infiniti removed the Brembo package on the 05 Rev-up model.

I'm guessing that some of the catalogs are assuming that the big brakes on the RWD G37S are made by Brembo as well.

I've found that many will list the Journey Sedan and Sport 6MT Sedan only for the G37, which may be linked to the same assumption carried over from the G35 6MT.
