I have a 2013 G37X Sendan - Stock. We just failed the yearly state inspection as they said the rear brakes were done almost to the plate. I was a bit surprised as I had bought some nice pads 25k miles 2.5 years ago. I wonder if the caliper pin is stuck or the boot/bushings are damaged.

When I had the brakes replaced last time my mechanic friend had mentioned that the Carlson caliper slide pin boots I bought did not fit so he put back the original ones back in. I do not see the offical boots on the Infiniti parts site.

Here are the part numbers of what I used when brakes were done last in late 2019:

Centric Premium Rotors
Centric Posi-Quiet Pads

Anyone have good luck with certain brand of after market slide pin boot/bushings that for sure fit the G37X Sedan?
