Lowering Springs Questions

How reliable are the lowering springs compared to the coil overs? Because I don’t know if I really wanna spend a grand on coilovers. And what are the best lowering springs?

I have Eibach Pro lowering springs on my G37S Coupe, everything else suspensión wise is stock and it really pulls the car together. Stock ride height it too high for me personally.

Also thinking about getting lowering springs for my 08 G37S coupe, have 75k miles on it. How are you liking the drop and ride quality from the Eibach Pro lowering springs?

I really like them, I’m not sure what the regular sport suspension feels like but paired with the Eibach lowering springs, it’s nice and sporty. I daily drive my car and it’s not too harsh. The occasional back road hooning is lots of fun

I bought my car with spring, H&R. It was put on stock stocks. I got the car at 60,000 miles. I was at 130,000 before I switched to coilovers (only because I needed to raise my car due to the low hanging Motordyne exhaust). Even at 130,000 miles the shocks were still good, comfort was good, and the car looked good.

Springs are a good option if you are 100% sure you wont make and height changes. Tein Basis can be had for a low price and still ride well. Only a bit more expensive than springs new.

If you score a set of used springs, I say go for it. I sold mine for $200 or something.
