what about if you want I lower the fronts more than the rears? If any on the rears.. My Vossen VFS2 wheels are staggered with an aggressive wide look. 20x10 20x12 +38 255/30 ZR 20 and 295/30 ZR 20. The rear wheels are rubbing a little im going to roll and pull my fenders but there’s a pretty big gap on the fronts.
For AWD, that seems like a pretty large difference in rolling diameter, could eventually lead to diff and transfer case damage. That aside, look up the spring rates and drops on all the different manufacturers and see which gives the biggest drop and isn't too soft.
Alternatively, If you get a larger sidewall in the front, 35 vs 30, your rolling diameters will be almost identical and you will fill that front gap more.
TEIN sits lower and is very soft. Doesn't do too well when driving the car hard, cornering hard, track, etc. Better ride quality at the cost of performance.
I’ve actually been looking at tein s-tech springs for my x sedan, from the people I’ve talked to they’ve gotten away with lowering on these without any control arms so I’m leaning towards them just for that reason, but when you say they lose performance would it be worse than stock or just not much better

I test drove as many friend cars as I could to see how different springs felt an I found tein to be a bit too soft and soggy for my liking. But if youre not tracking or autocrossing the car, it's fine for a daily. If you have the opportunity to try a fellow G owner's car thats on springs, see how your butt likes it.

idk my springs dumped my car way beyond the stated drop I think I had -4 degrees in the rear and -3 in the front. I was probably driving 15-20k km a year max and needed to buy new tires every single year before snowfall 😂. I definitely recommend some controls arms. They definitely aren’t as pricey as they were 5 years ago and many more brand have come out with their own versions as-well.
Well I stuck with my gut and decided swifts would be my best bet and they just arrived, gonna get them put on in the spring by my gfs dad (He’s been doing work on his own cars, dailies, street, and his insane drag cars, for longer than I’ve been alive) so I’ll update y’all when they’re on!

Swifts match the ride of the Sport package springs and work well with the sport dampers. The drop is about .4" lower all around than advertised after a year or two. Matched with spacers, strut bar, front and rear power braces, polyurethane diff bushings and the necessary components needed to bring the car back into factory alignment, you will be pleasantly surprised by the handling improvement.

Definitely gonna get spacers and a strut bar but the place I’m taking it to get aligned said that they would be able to get in spec without control/camber arms since they specialize in modified cars, but to be safe I might get spc rear toe bolts just in case, I’m fine with a little camber in the front but I want to make sure my rear is as close to factory spec as possible

Run Coupe specs as those will allow for more camber front and rear. By default, the rear requires more than the front for drivability. I believe I'm at -1.2 in the front and -1.8 in the rear. With Toe close to zero, tire wear is not bad.
