Curved rear camber arms vs. straight

Curved rear camber arms vs. straight

SPC changed the arm type, but kept the same part #. What exactly is being lost here? I'm assuming the change was to save money.

My understanding is that the X needs the curved arm. I tried to install a straight arm on my X coupe and ran into interference with the sway bar.
