Need Brake Advice please

Hi all,
Either my search skills are getting dull or brakes have not been talked about much here. I have a 2011 6MT sedan with 50k miles. I have two issues.

1. When at parking lot speeds and I go to slowly stop I get a pronounced squeak. I've taken off the wheels and inspected the brake pads and all seem to have decent life left and none appear to be hitting any wear indicators. Any idea what might be causing this?
2. The stock rotors are warped, not badly, but I think they need replacing. Since it's probably best to replace the rotors and the pads at the same time, thoughts on the best daily spirited driver rotors and pads? I'll be doing the work myself.

Thanks for the help!!

Before replacing the rotors, perform an Italian tune-up.

Squeaky brakes are the norm for the Akebono sport brakes when cold. If they squeak when warm, better hurry with the pad insoection.

I get zero noise from my akebono sport brakes

Here are my suggestions for eliminating brake noise on the G and getting the best longevity from your brakes

Use a scouring attachment on a power drill to clean the hub when installing new rotors. Wipe a thin coat of copper anti-sieze on the mating surface. Most cases of "warped rotors" are pad deposits on the rotor or run-out from corrosion between the rotor and hub

When installing pads, use copper anti-sieze on the backs, under the shims and where they contact the guides.

Use high temp silicone grease on the pins

Use fresh brake hardware

Use raybestos anti-drag clips on the rear brakes. This is where a lot of noise comes from on the G

Thanks V, any suggestions on rotor and pad manufacturers should those suggestions above not fix my problem?

I'm currently using akebono sport pads and centric high carbon rotors front, standard in the rear. Should run you about $350 for all 4 corners. Kits rarely offer savings and you're better off with standard rotors for daily driving. Rockauto is usually cheapest for brakes, but if you have prime, always check for warehouse deals. Lots of returns on brake parts from people who can't read fitment descriptions
