I've been warned the last couple of alignments that my alignment bolts are likely seized and that the bushings may be damaged when torching the bolts to loosen them. The cost of a replacement lower control arm (midlink, spring bucket) is quite a bit.

Whiteline offers lower inner bushings for the lower control arm and the lower link (camber arm). I am tempted to order this and try removing the arms and pressing these bushings out.

Has anyone replaced these? I have a fresh set of tires on the car and would like to get the car aligned to make sure they last!

 

I haven't changed those exact ones, but I have replaced my rear upper bushings (where the bottom of the strut mounts to the knuckle) with the whitline ones...its pretty straightforward on the same arm..use socket a bolt and a bunch of washers with a ton of oil on them and press them out and press in the new ones...but before doing that consider you can probably get aftermarket parts for not much more than those bushings with brand new bushings already in them or used parts on ebay from a low mileage car for about the same as aftermarket if not less

 

Make sure you have a source for the bolts before trying anything. If they are siezed, you might damage or destroy them in the removal process.
