Front end driver side creaking, help!
Hello everyone, I have a 2013 G37x and I am at my wit's end with this sound, and it's making me not even want to drive the thing.
It started happening last summer but it was bearable at the time. I figured it was a bushing or something since in the winter time or generally when it's under 60f, you don't hear it at all.
It's a creak/squeak when driving straight over small irregularities/bumps in the road and it's much more prominent as the car warms up and I've been driving for a little.
I changed the upper control arm and bushing today thinking it was that but the sound is still there.
The big discovery that I had today was when the wheels are straight or not under tension (when parked) and I shake the car up and down you can hear it. BUT when the steering wheel is fully turned and held under tension in one direction or the other, you don't hear the sound when shaking the car up and down.
I am thinking this has to do with sway bar end links?
I would greatly appreciate any help or advice on this!
Any tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!!
Here's a short video, driving straight with Windows up at 15-20 mph

If it’s all lower speeds making clunking noises then it will be the sway bar endlinks had it happen to mine. It makes clunking noise even louder when going over speed bumps, but it won’t make the noise when driving at a higher speed.

I had a creaking sound on my passenger side with Hotchkis Swaybars. They needed to be regreased. But, I also put Teflon tape around the sway bar were the greased bushing and bracket hold it. This eliminated the creaking for me when I would drive over an irregular drop like backing out of my driveway to the alley. I used to hear a slight “crrrrreeaaakk” and drove me nuts. Made my car feel old. I have a 2013 G37X sedan. Maybe your sways just need to be greased?

I have a similar sound in my 2011 G37x on passenger side but mine gets worse as it gets colder - I can also duplicate rocking the vehicle.
It was diagnosed as bushings in the lower control arm (transverse link) and I'll be replacing this summer.
Creaks can be difficult to pinpoint - especially under the vehicle.
Good luck!
