Need help - Brake Switch

My car starts but I can't put the gear into the drive position.
My break light does not work at all also
I went to the dealer and they said it may be the break switch, they gave me this part number 36011-CA000 for my g37xs 2009. But I received this item but when I looked online it doesn't look like that can someone tells me where does this part goes tks. Car has been parked for 3 days now

Dont know anything about that part number or your issue but you can still drive your car by simply popping the little tab on the shifter n then use something flat n push n hold in the shifters override while changing gears, it's a temporary fix but you still get to drive. Good luck hope it helps.

Edit: check your fuse box, possibly the dealer over looked it. There's a brake light fush some people remove to do burnouts, I would start there.

Thank you very much, and that's exactly what we did and we checked all the fuses again and we found the culprit, the stop lamp fuse was not working. I should kick myself in the *** a million time.
