Cool 2010 G37s sedan RWD - front strut leak

Hi All, looking for some advice on front suspension for my 37s sedan (6MT). The front right strut is leaking, and I need to change it - however this may be a good time to change both font struts/springs, or go for front coil overs.

Previously I had a 2006 g35x, and I lowered it myself with BC coils. camber kits, rear camber bolts etc. I'm not sure I want to go full coil over setup with my 2010 though.

Questions I need help with:

1) Is the g37s suspension (springs) different than the regular g37 sedan suspension?
2) can you recommend mild lowering springs or coilovers for a 2010 g37s sedan.
3) I've always thought the front sat too high, can I change the front suspension and keep the rear stock? would an alignment even everything out?

Thanks,
Dan

Hi Dan,
Might look into Tein Basis Z coilovers, pretty common here, and can be had for under $500 shipped. These are coilovers w/ about the softest spring rates, so the ride won't be as firm as other coils. You will have to use your current OEM upper shock mounts w/ the TEin set, so if any of those are also leaking they'd need replacement too. There's a Nismo Z kit here that will give you a mild drop but will firm your ride up a bit.

Alignment will get your camber and toe adjusted as close to spec as they can get, if you lower just the front then your front camber will surely be out of spec in front, but toe (which is more critical) can be fully adjusted through the tie rods. Alignment won't balance out your drop, just your camber/toe specs.
