Tomei + lowered

Hello, i own a s coupe on stock wheels. I have been wanting to lower the car but i have a tomei. I dont have coilover money (im in college) and just wondered if anyone here has a tomei and has lowering springs?? I am looking at the h&r springs since i like their company and how low they are but i am concered about it messing up my tomei. Is there anyone here with a tomei and lowered on springs? I need some pics.

Get some street basis Z coils (https://thmotorsports.com/10455475-t...-8uas2#reviews) as they are only ~$150 more than springs. Also, depending on your miles, are your OEM struts in good condition as well or are you looking into replacing them as well. I would only get springs if I couldn't afford CO (as you mentioned) as well as ONLY if my struts are in good condition still. Otherwise, I would just shell out the extra money for the Basis Z as they come with their own struts and springs.

As for the Tomei scrapping, I guess that depends on how low you want to go. But the few people i know running Tomeis and are lowered scrape their exhaust. Some more than others of course.

I am going to be purchasing the street basis Z for my G Sedan soon. I'm still deciding if I want to cash out some extra money and get better performance COs, but I heard the tein street basis are on par or better than the OEM Sport suspension. Overall, great choice from my readings.

Not sure if needed but I could provide pictures if needed. I’m lowered on eibach springs and my tomei is close to the ground. I had it in a loft and I noticed the pipe that curves is scratched up due to the differential not letting it sit any higher. That’s just what you get when you buy an exhaust meant for another car. Do I regret it? No, best exhaust ever.

It will scrape at some point on springs. Just be careful. Tomei is the worst along with motordyne for ground clearance.

Yeah I'm worried about my exhaust once I finally get around to installing my Tein Street Basis Z coilovers.
