Dashboard messages turn on when accelerating

Hi

When I rapidly accelerate to about 5 or 6000rpm. Three messages appear: Hand break that flashes and disappears. VDC off and slippery that stays on until I turn off the car and turn it back on. See pictures. Any suggestions is appreciated. Got it checked and these are the messages appeared. Brake fluid is fine and within the norm levels but still shows up.

The messages on the dash are for low brake fluid....when you say they're within normal levels, it should really be at max on a level surface...if its between min and max when you accelerate like that it may slosh around and below the min where the sensor is...the level is probably low because your brake pads and or rotors are probably worn

Hashim is right that if your fluid is on the lower side of "normal" hard acceleration could certainly cause that issue. That used to happen on my 06' G35. Any idea how warn your brake pads are? Might be good to give them a once over to make sure they don't need replaced.

Also be careful with just topping off the brake fluid. If/when you or someone else replaces the pads the pistons in the caliper will need compressed to fit the new pads. All the fluid will back up into the master cylinder, if you added more into the system it will overflow. Brake fluid can do nasty things if spilled all over, especially to paint.

To add, your VDC system uses the ABS system which is the brake system (BTW, not spelled "breaks") so if there is a fluid level fault, the system must deactivate which illuminates other warnings.

You need your brakes looked at, likely need the brakes re-done.

I have this on my 2011 also.
Hard acceleration causes a BRAKE warning that goes away in seconds. The brake fluid level could explain that.
I also get the slippery light comes on and resets after the key is cycled off and back on.
That can't be related to fluid level, can it?

Thanks, it makes sense now.
Also, it sounds far less ominous and costly.

It's super common. I got that message twice and topped up my fluid twice over 2 years before I needed to do brakes. Definitely have to be aware of how much fluid is being pushed back into the reservoir like mentioned.

Thanks, again.
