Hi guys so I have an 09 g37x coupe 7AT with a few mods (grounding kit, intake, exhaust, and some minor stuff). Yesterday I am sitting at a stop light when the light turns green. I hit the acceleration and my car just shuts off. I am able to put it back in park and restart the car but when I start to hit the acceleration it wont go past 20 mph or shift gears. I pulled into a parking lot, shut my car off for 5 min and restarted and now everything is fine again. This happened to me a few months ago when it was really cold and I attributed it to a frozen fuel line but I had a lot of gas this time and its fairly warm out so idk what it could be. Any one have any idea? any help is appreciated!

U think i should bring to dealer? I have no lights on my dash or anything. Never have gotten one since ive had the car. My mechanic thinks it was watered down gas or water got in engine since I'm lowered but idk.

Go to an autoparts store. They'll read your car for codes, usually for free. Some codes don't activate your check engine light.
