Hey I am looking to purchase lowering springs for my 2012 infiniti G37x... Any recommendations for the AWD?

 

I am pretty new to the forums. But I would recommend the Swift 4N907 Sport Lowering Springs. I got them on my car the summer of 2017. Keep in mind your alignment shop will have trouble getting it in spec. My fronts are about -2 degrees and rear around -1.4 degrees. Make sure your alignment shop zeros out the toe. I am sure the forums will recommend a camber/toe kit. If I had to do it again, I would get a camber/toe kit done. Let me know if you have any questions.

 

I have a RWD and I read a few people saying that there's no need for the camber and toe kit needed for the Swift. Not sure though as I would love to avoid purchasing the SPL kit if it's not required.

 

I'd get the rear camber/toe kit w/ almost all lowering springs/coilovers, and if it's on the milder side (1.25" or less) then the front can be "optional".

So there is no way I can get to even close to spec to prevent from tires from wearing faster than usual without the rear camber/toe kit ? And if I DO need to buy the kit, buy (2) rear camber arm (https://www.z1motorsports.com/suspen...37-p-3980.html?).

Also, weren't you running swift springs for a little? Also, I saw that the Tein Street Basis (the main affordable coilover that people compare to Swift Springs) are not around $600. is that true? I thought they were only around $400-450. Not sure if the prices have went up recently but I was considering buying those instead of the springs for the extra $100-150 (if it's priced at $450).

Since I am lowering on stock wheels (18" duckfeet sport sedan), I will most likely need 15mm to 20mm spacers, any recommendations? Are spacers safe in the aspect of aggressive driving 100 mph+? I have to keep my G for about another 2 years so I plan to just drop it a little so the look can flow better with my Motordyne Exhaust.

Toe is the tire killer. You have to be able to get toe between zero and stock whatever units toe-in.
